I’m just building my name and a rep.

Here’s a little sketch from my sketchbook. I’ve been in the process of redoing my website with all new work, additional sections, and an updated more personal style. It should be up this week and will have a lot of the projects I was holding out to post. Anyone stumbling onto this site looking for new work, just sit tight.

I spent the past week in Syracuse and had the opportunity to paint a couple businesses. It was a great way to bring in color and a fresh look to the new buildings. As far as concept for the office at MAC Source, they were looking for the company name abstracted in a more modern, urban style so I gave the letters MAC some funk and energy.

Now that the project I’ve been working on at Cocktail Bodega has wrapped up and they’ve opened their doors, they’re gained some attention on various food and nightlife blogs where you can get glimpses of my artwork. From the construction barrier to the interior of the club, I was fortunate enough to have branded the new club with color and energy of the LES nightlife. Painting a continuing mural that stretches throughout the upstairs down into the club, it was a tricky but fun project. I’ll have my own press photos up soon with more focus on the artwork inside.

Custom thank you cards I made a couple weeks ago. There’s nothing more personal than a hand-made sign of appreciation and thought.

I will have a few pieces in an upcoming show at NYU in a group show to benefit the education and arts for children in Haiti. It’s for a good cause and is being currated by my friend Jill at Sink or Swim Kicks so if you’re in the area, stop by for a great group show.

I did a live painting party at Brooklyn Stable and here’s what I ended up with. I did the sketch a few months ago while I was having writers block and I ended up loving my sketch. New shirt design for Blind Justice

I spent a few days adding some life to the offices at Brandsway Creative. This was all painted freehand like the rest of my murals with just a sketch and guides for myself. Painted with latex enamel. I will be revisiting the Cocktail Bodega shortly to liven up the inside so more updates will follow that project.
